Ladies, it’s 2017! I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. It will be a year of big changes for sure, and I’ll take you with me along my journey. Today I have some outfit details of the week for you. I like putting outfits together and making pictures of them. On days when I don’t know what to wear I can easily scroll through my instagram and see what outfit I can wear that day.
Monday I felt like wearing something casual but in a way dressed up at the same time. I went for this collared shirt with a grey pattern. I love the detailing of the pattern, it’s subtle but at the same time noticeable. The shirt has a white… Read More
Today I went for a casual outfit. Black trousers with a subtle faux leather look. I simply love the edgy look of faux leather and it makes my outfit just that little more interesting! On top of that I wore a black and white striped top, one of my recent purchases from Pimkie. The blouse has a nice detail on the neckline and is embellished with rhinestones. This way you don’t even have to look for a matching necklace. The shoes are from Sac d’Anvers in Ghent.
I must admit I haven’t been shopping for clothes in a while. I haven’t been feeling so great lately because I’ve gained a lot of weight since I started working. Although I still fit my clothes, sadly the weighing… Read More
I ordered some new statement necklaces and recently got them in the mail! I couldn’t keep it from you so I thought I’d share it with you guys. The first piece in the picture below is definitely one of the biggest statement necklaces I own. For those of you who are interested, it is also available in other colours (There’s also a blue version which I really as well). Sadly the price has gone up since I bought it, but I think it’s still really worth it’s price. I really love mix and matching different basic pieces with these bold statement necklaces for a more personalised look. The other two don’t have any colourful theme going on which makes them a bit easier to combine with…… Read More
I love the colour burgundy during autumn/fall and winter. It’s just the perfect pop of colour for these seasons. The wonderful thing about colours is that you can incorporate them into many parts of your outfit going from make-up to jewelry to the actual clothing pieces itself. … Read More
Since I am still in the process of working on my Master thesis, I haven’t been outside much. That doesn’t stop me however to put some combination outfits together! I can’t wait to finally be done with my work and have some more time to enjoy the wonderful weather that we have been having the past few days. Early this week I came across a post on Instagram of one of the shops I follow. They were having a huge sale on certain statement necklaces (and other jewelry). I immediately went to check it out and most of the necklaces were either 1-2 or 3 euro. I must admit I went a little crazy and bought a whole bunch of them since we all know how much I love my statement necklaces. Since they were all ridiculously priced I didn’t even end up spending a lot of money. I received the package yesterday and must say I am very excited to combine them together with different outfits. The purple necklace is one of them (the rest will follow later). Usually I don’t tend…… Read More
I’m always super excited when I receive some new accessories in the mail. I love putting them together into an outfit and basically see them come to life. Recently I’ve been into basic blouses or solid coloured tops so I can easily combine them with a nice statement jacket or blazer and a beautiful statement necklace to make it a little more interesting. Primark for example is a wonderful store for basics if you are on a budget or just don’t like to spend too much on a single piece and like some variety in your wardrobe.

Today I went for a simple white blouse, which let’s be honest is just a staple piece in every woman’s wardrobe. I combined it with two of my latest additions to my closet a white coat and a beautiful statement necklace. I received the necklace today (only 5,15 euro) and thought it would be perfect with this jacket from Zara.

January has not been a good month for my wallet. Normally I don’t really like to go shopping during the sale time all that much because of all the chaos. But since I always have the feeling that I would miss out some great deals if I wouldn’t go, I ended up having a shopping day in Brussels (because of the new Primark there^^). I didn’t really end up buying a lot of fashion accessories but mostly got some basics. I can’t wait for the Primark in Ghent to finally open in April!… Read More
I have another mini haul for you! I have received a couple of things over the past weeks (these posts about what I’ve purchased make me realise I have gone a little overboard, but let’s blame it on the sales and exams!). Everything is purchased from different online shops. This sparkling piece of clothing is a beautiful nude coloured dress detailed with sequins in gold, copper and silver. The detailing is amazing and gives such a nice effect (almost looks like marble don’t you think?). Since I’m very fair it is kinda hard to make this colour work in combination with my skin colour. I mostly try to avoid nude colours for dresses or clothes cause it can easily give the illusion that I’m naked. Read More
