Today I went for a casual outfit. Black trousers with a subtle faux leather look. I simply love the edgy look of faux leather and it makes my outfit just that little more interesting! On top of that I wore a black and white striped top, one of my recent purchases from Pimkie. The blouse has a nice detail on the neckline and is embellished with rhinestones. This way you don’t even have to look for a matching necklace. The shoes are from Sac d’Anvers in Ghent.

I ordered some new statement necklaces and recently got them in the mail! I couldn’t keep it from you so I thought I’d share it with you guys. The first piece in the picture below is definitely one of the biggest statement necklaces I own. For those of you who are interested, it is also available in other colours (There’s also a blue version which I really as well). Early this week I came across a post on Instagram of one of the shops I follow. They were having a huge sale on certain statement necklaces (and other jewelry). I immediately went to check it out and most of the necklaces were either 1-2 or 3 euro. I must admit I went a little crazy and bought a whole bunch of them since we all know how much I love my statement necklaces. I’m always super excited when I receive some new accessories in the mail. I love putting them together into an outfit and basically see them come to life. Recently I’ve been into basic blouses or solid coloured tops so I can easily combine them with a nice statement jacket or blazer and a beautiful statement necklace to make it a little more interesting. January has not been a good month for my wallet. Normally I don’t really like to go shopping during the sale time all that much because of all the chaos. I have another mini haul for you! I have received a couple of things over the past weeks (these posts about what I’ve purchased make me realise I have gone a little overboard, but let’s blame it on the sales and exams!). Everything is purchased from different online shops. This sparkling piece of clothing is a beautiful nude coloured dress detailed with sequins in gold, copper and silver. The detailing is amazing and gives such a nice effect (almost looks like marble don’t you think?). Since I’m very fair it is kinda hard to make this colour work in combination with my skin colour.
