Marc Jacobs – Decadence
Decadence is Marc Jacob’s first ‘mature’ fragrance in 2015. The scent is described as sexy and sophisticated. The top notes include Italian plum, saffron and iris. Bulgarian rose, Sambac jasmine and orris root form the heart of the perfume, while the base includes warm liquid amber, vetiver and papyrus wood. Which might not tell you much about what you can expect the scent to smell like. So here my personal experience: the fragrance has a mix of a sweet afterscent as well as a mature scent. I think Decadence can be compared to Givenchy irrestible sensual (the initial scent when you first spray the perfume) but after a while there are also some sweeter notes that come through.
Personally the bottle is what totally sold me to buy it (might not be the best reason to buy a perfume but shhh). It’s so cute and pretty to display. Mine however, didn’t come with the black tassel which is normally a part of the bottle design. I’m a bit disappointed that it didn’t come with the tassel but the bottle is still cute nonetheless. If anyone knows why let me know in the comments.
