Sapphires and Diamonds

Christmas has just passed and we are getting ready to celebrate the New Year. That equals playing dress up and searching for the right party dress. Since sequins are the big thing at the moment, I thought some sparkle would be appropriate. The ‘all things glitter theme’ is just perfect to start the New Year.

I must admit I went on a bit of a shopping spree lately. Sometimes I have those moments where I buy nothing at all and other times I see a whole bunch of items that I must get my hands on. I am stil a student so obviously I can’t get everything all the time. Therefore I always try to get some good deals and discounts here ant there. In this post I will show you a few of the pieces that I received over the past month (the other items I will show in another post).

One of my fashion related New Year resolutions is that I will wear more dresses. I have bought a couple of new dresses lately that I can’t wait to wear!

This is the dress that I will be wearing to go to my family on the first of January. I love black (it basically suits every skin colour and it is just a nice slimming colour). Since it is kinda chilly outside in Belgium at the moment, I will wear panties underneath. The dress has sequins and glitters all over the skirt part (not on the back of the skirt) and has a black blouse chiffon top. There is an opening in the back but the cutout isn’t too much which is good. The sides have a drapery look but it’s not completely open so you don’t see your bra. I will try to make a picture of it myself soon! I bought this from the webshop Loavies. I’ve ordered 2 things there and have been satisfied with the orders every time.
