A brand new beginning

I hope everyone had a magnificent start of the brand new year 2014. I sincerely hope this year will bring lots of enjoyable moments to remember and a considerable amount of things to look forward to.

This year will bring a lot of changes for me. First of all i’m studying for my master in Communication Science which means my years of studying are almost coming to an end. I have no idea what I i will be doing for a job and it kinda frightens me a little because it is all getting so close. I guess I will try different things and see where it will bring me. I love having my own webshop but since we try to keep our prices as low as possible it can be seen as a hobby instead of a job with an income. I will have to search for something else that can challenge me on a personal level.

I have all sorts of different projects in my head that I would love to realise and I hope that I might have the means to make these things a reality. First of all I started this blog. I love reading blogs of other people and have always been thinking about making my own. I was always postponing things because I was scared I would fail, but sometimes you just have to go ahead with the things you want to do and see where it goes. There is this quote that summarises my thoughts at the moment pretty well:

“I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.”

Changes can be good and refreshing but some things are just good the way they are. By the end of January it will be my 7th year anniversary with my boyfriend. I have been together with him since I was 15 and have had such an amazing time. I don’t want anything to change ^^.

So overall I hope this year will bring the necessary changes that will make me grow as a person combined with the support of the things and people that comfort me and make me who I am.
